AFFINIS Light Body - Addition Silicone (A) | COLTENE
AFFINIS Light Body by COLTENE is an addition silicone (A-silicone) wash material designed to deliver maximum precision in moist clinical environments, overcoming the limitations of conventional impression silicones.
Thanks to its hydrocolloid-like properties, the material wets tooth and gingival surfaces extremely quickly and effectively, flowing into the narrowest areas without the need to apply pressure.
Its very low contact angle, achieved through a structure-breaking surfactant, combined with a self-adapting viscosity, minimizes air entrapment, porosity and marginal distortion. At the same time, its balanced thixotropy prevents dripping from the tooth.
